I am Marie Paulette, married and mother of 4 children. Following an academic year in international development, option NGOs in UEL (University of East London) in England and having worked in different associations of international solidarity in Africa and in Europe, I followed a week-long training at the ICI, in "Introduction to project management" (PGI).
Justified by the fact that any student in the I. C.I who arrives at the end of his internship, must be assessed and evaluated for its ability to design and analyze a development project, it is expected a practicum.
I chose to do my humanitarian internship has Abidjan with a first programme of soilless culture
For this reason, I have chosen the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) in Côte d'Ivoire, in Abidjan for a duration of 4 weeks.
During my humanitarian internship in Abidjan, I had the chance to participate in two projects: a first culture aboveground program that has helped to reduce poverty, to ensure food security and to create employment in the outskirts of Abidjan, and a second program that was to provide technical support to small producers of rice.
My stay has confirmed my professional project in the field of solidarity and international cooperation.
I recommend the I. C.I to all persons wishing to engage in the fields of humanitarian, solidarity and international cooperation.
